Kola Bou (কলাবউ) known as wife of Lord Ganesha. On the auspicious day of Saptami (the seventh day of DurgaPuja ) Kola Bou is draped with a red bordedred white Sari and vermilion is smeared on its leaves. Kola bouis set on Ganesha's right side.
Kola Bou also known Navapatrika.The nine plants comprising Nabapatrika. The plants are: the Banana plant, the Colacassia plant, the Turmeric plant, the Jayanti tree, the Wood apple tree, the Pomegranate tree, the Arum plant, the Rice plant and the Ashoka tree.
On the day of Saptami morning, the priest carries the tree in a grand procession from the Ganges or local pond to the Durga Puja mandap accompanied by the dhakisand Kanshi.
